Our Mission
The Middle East Wagyu Initiative is a WAGYU.AE-led program dedicated to elevating Wagyu standards, education, and authentic supply across the GCC. We work with hospitality professionals, regulatory bodies, and industry partners to establish best practices for handling, representing, and serving authentic Japanese Wagyu in the Middle East market.
Addressing Market Challenges
The Middle East luxury hospitality market faces significant challenges with Wagyu authenticity. Mislabeling, grade confusion, and improper handling practices undermine consumer confidence and devalue authentic Japanese product. The Initiative exists to address these challenges through education, certification support, and supply chain transparency.
